Nathan and Kylee Urie have been together ten years. They met back in high school — FF kids — and now they'or ve got baby Beck, who is growing faster than any of them can keep up with.
That's exactly why a session like this matters. Not the posed, everybody-smile kind. The real kind. The kind where you're holding the tiny human you made, and the light does whatever it wants, and it's perfect.
Kylee told me these photos matter because Beck is changing every single day. If you're a parent, you know that ache — you blink and the newborn is gone, then the infant, then suddenly they're running. Photographs are the only way to hold onto any of it.
A few in color, a few in black and white, because some moments just deserve both.
